Birdman Jeff Seaberg 9-14-2018 I am the birdman, wearing hot pink and turquoise. Painting a scene from high above, of a small world down below. I am the birdman, singing high above the tree tops. Preaching my promise on the prowl, for all those learning to listen. I am the birdman. Peering down from my precious little perch. From here the world’s problems can be solved, Distance derails us from disaster. When birds of a feather flock together, Feathers fly in a flight of fancy. I am the birdman, costume clad with angels wings. I’ll fly down to right some wrongs, with brights words of wisdom. I am the birdman, my tune tried and treacherous. Sometimes my silence is thy song, slowly gathers to become strong. I am the birdman. Amongst the masses a messiah may mingle, Unknown he flutters to forecast prophecy, Spreading his truth for all to see. When birds of a feather flock together, Feathers fly in a flight of fancy. I am the birdman.

The Straw Hat Revolution Jeff Seaberg 10-16-2016 The reeds grew thick in the bush, throngs of people passed without notice, Perhaps perplexed the mighty pal swayed, nearly a gust galloped to turn the red head. A frond wrenched free and fell to Earth, startled he dragged the divided leaf with girth. Cleared a path for the multitudes and their mirth. The straw hat revolution, screamed a certain evolution, fueled by locomotion, the straw hat revolution. Edith weaved her way through the circus, tourists tried out her hats as she smiled, New material of a palm frond newly fallen, perfect for protection the sun shines so hot. Peaceful and serene Edith begins in resolution, this hat I shall finish with exact execution, And calmly her nimble hands weave contemplation. The straw hat revolution, screamed a certain evolution, fueled by locomotion, the straw hat revolution. Teal band stuck with a white carnation, the straw hat now complete stands at attention, Collecting not a few minutes a man is duly drawn, the crown now chosen Edith accepts not a penny. Fair to say the man made motion but she said, peace to you and shade from your fiery head, The sun will shine bright to sparkle all in your stead. The straw hat revolution, screamed a certain evolution, fueled by locomotion, the straw hat revolution. For fifty years the man with the straw hat listened, digesting the delicious nutrients of a generation, The hat collected dust determined not deterred, carnation of white as pristine as his teal blue eyes. The divisions were decisive in picking their own fable, he found the straw hat had turned the table, leading a revolution of peace he was able. The straw hat revolution, screamed a certain evolution, fueled by locomotion, the straw hat revolution.

Forging 50 09:05
Forging Fifty Jeff Seaberg 7-2-2018 It’s a game of numbers, one hundred million to one. I’m a product of the 60’s, long hair easy going and free. Turbulent times yet a welcoming World, where astronauts land on the moon. It’s a matter of mathematics, eventually they all add up. Forging 50 and a dream, in this continuous stir fry of life. I look around and find it nice, Ritchie Rich outlook don’t look twice. A fall out of fractions, energy crisis long lines of cars. Casey Kasem counts down 40, atari ping pong and the Fonz. Mash up the raw ingredients to reveal my shy happiness. Digital digits let’s use the force, exchange currency with a happy meal. 30 plus countries I visit, character sharpens and shudders, I’m not a soldier in a war, my eyes welcome all people of Earth. Be happy and keep the faith Sing this song and tune in Awake and aware willing to explore 1984 grocery store no more, grocery store no more. Be happy and keep the faith The World is smaller and that’s great The drum beats loud and I found my place I’m stir fried and full of life, full of life. You’ve got mail soup nazi, not that there’s anything wrong with that. 20th century is my scene, perhaps overcooked and obscene. Y2K did not make me nervous, but my stomach rumbled just the same. Pura vida en el mundo loco, my heart hungry for the tower of babel. New century branded by 9/11, my vaca brava sealed in the sun. A patriot begins a new dynasty, the POTUS is the Kenyan’s son. Game of numbers increases, idiocracy is the norm. Fatherhood and my fabulous 5, perspective changes to hallelujiah. To fathom fake handheld news, I stir fry vegetables from our farm. Turn negative numbers towards the future, I’m positive of the possibilities. Wielding wisdom at ground 0, father to father dreams become reality. Perhaps my children will land on Mars, from green we’ll go red to keep us all fed. Be happy and keep the faith Sing this song and tune in Awake and aware willing to explore 1984 grocery store no more, grocery store no more. Be happy and keep the faith The World is smaller and that’s great The drum beats loud and I found my place I’m stir fried and full of life, full of life.

Well Done, Weldon Springtime’s now beginning, The years most mellow time. When small boys think of the circus And save ‘most every dime; When grown men, hardy toilers, With money to invest, Lean back and smile quite wisely And decide it’s time to rest; When the glory of the heavens Hints a hidden angel choir, It’s just the proper season For Reynolds to retire. He can now swing that walking stick Away from critics’ eyes, And his stately mien and grandeur Will cause some envious sighs. Twas well done, Weldon (2x) List you, man of leisure! We’ll pick you from the throng By your air, and ease of manner As through life you jog along. Let’s gaze back reminiscently To eighteen eighty three, When Carter was the big chief Who managed carefully. The firm was then on broad street, ‘Twas called the Maverick Oil, And pleasant were the days spent there In energetic toil. Then came Donald and Macmillan, How the old SOCONY spread, And Weldon sailed the oily stream Where the current led. Twas well done, Weldon (2x) Wilkinson and Smith, in line Reach down to this bright hour, And each agree that Reynolds Has served with honest power. We must admit this subject Is one that’s far from gay, It needs majestic treatment, Not faulty roun-de-lay; For forty years - yes, forty, Is fit subject for a song Of serious mood, - and mighty As those years now come and gone. No doubt each one of the forty A smile is wearing today, As they hover aloft o’er this festive scene Like comrades watching a play. ‘Tis the final act of a splendid show, Of a comedy, gay yet sad, And forty tongues, as the curtain drops, Shout, in accents glad; Twas well done, weldon (4x) March 31, 1923 John J Fitzgerald

This Exact Time Jeff Seaberg 10-6-2018 (Combo from Exact Moment 12-6-2004 & Time 9-17-1997) Life is short and sweet, I’m not sure about you, But I put my fears aside when I’m with you. I can’t say forever, but I really want to, Despite the past time heals you. Think through the bad times, and the good times to come, In this exact moment are we having fun? Seconds pass, minutes fly, hours and hours become a day in time, TIME (2x) Time and time again I stop, assess the damage to my clock, tick tock knockity knock, TIME (2x) Time . . . Fearing that time will fly away, floating carelessly beyond my reach, It’s time to take a minute or two, smell the rose and put that petal to the metal. I get an uneasy feeling when someone asks me the time of day Days become months, months become years and with them certain fears. Thoughts race to the future and are lost in the past, But in this moment time stands still at last. I can’t say forever, but I really want to, Despite the future I forgive you. Think through the bad times and the good times to come, In this exact moment are we having fun? Seconds pass, minutes fly, hours and hours become a day in time, TIME (2x) Time and time again I stop, assess the damage to my clock, tick tock knockity knock, TIME (2x) Time . . . Fearing that time will fly away, floating carelessly beyond my reach, It’s time to take a minute or two, smell the rose and put that petal to the metal. I get an uneasy feeling when someone asks me the time of day Days become months, months become years and with them certain fears.

Always Inspire Jeff Seaberg 9-23-2018 I get inspired for moments, ready to take on the World, A minute here infected torments, waves of flags unfurled. Fleeting yes that is my guess, fashioned upon characters crass, My class packed in hurried times, hope seen between the lines, the writing is on the wall. Connecting my inherent wisdom, articulating without words, Western thoughts washed white kingdoms, away they melt in my bad vision. Mixing with all things hopeful, my goal for learning yet unsold, Idle minds seek directions to be told, growth to attack, attack forever. Always learn, always grow, always inspire Climb that forever reaching spire, let burn that raging fire, Compassion to others let’s not tire, excuses exhausted from mirky mire. The torment comes the moment succumbs, to the un-ending circling of the sun That flag is vested congested with crumbs, lumps of time lost, without much fun. Inspiration is the human race, just look back and believe, All nations become one unfurled, glass half filled perpetually, The big picture beyond any one of us, within are fractions of far reaching force, Forever flying through time on course, forces of nature, universally true. Always learn, always grow, always inspire

Land of Dinosaurs Jeff Seaberg 7-1-2019 Your magical white guy in the sky, I don’t care about him And his son who walks on water, I just don’t give a damn You read this book an ancient relic, of ages past written by man A book of stories some good some bad, translated one thousand times Turn the page big bang, to the land of dinosaurs Something much greater I contend, my faith secure and grand. My open mind reveals, that all you say could be true Can you reciprocate the same, that man’s God may be planned Allah, Budha this guy Hare Krishna, their truths not my truths who really knows, waging wars of ignorance, man kinds apocolyptic demise, Turn the page big bang, to the land of dinosaurs Something much greater I contend, my faith secure and grand. The Greek Gods were so much more exciting, still stories made up by man Zeus the God of the sky, I suppose he’s superman His offspring open to question, a suggestion towards philosophy Their behavior somewhat human, can your God forgive them Turn the page big bang, to the land of dinosaurs Something much greater I contend, my faith secure and grand.

about

Funky Folk Rock & Roll music with engagingly provocative lyrics, that are reflective, inspirational and whimsically wild with a touch of wisdom. The music is a refreshing rejoice akin to opening an ice cold bottle of Coca Cola in Costa Rica. Disfrute!
